We welcome you to our beloved house located at the village of Kakovatos, between Pyrgos and Kyparissia, in a rural area. Our moto is Privacy and Hospitality.
A nice small villa surrounded by a 4000m2 own garden with orchards, olive trees, flowers and vegetables (tomatoes, zucchini, green beans, cucumbers, eggplants, okras) about 600m away from the sandy beach and Ionian coast of Peloponnese in a safe and quiet area.
The residence is situated on the outskirts of Kakovatos village, a typical Greek farming community in the Ionian coast of West Peloponnese. It is ideal if you wish to experience Greek life off the beaten path, in a picturesque seaside village and taste a lot of fresh food directly from own gardens and sea.
Elegant, decorated with care, includes pieces of old furnitured and it is big enough to easily accommodate two friendly couples or a large family.
The house
It is an approximately 120 m2 home, with two entrances, surrounded by verandas with sunset and moonrise views. It's an airy house on one level so you have not to climb stairs all day!
The house is in a very good condition throughout. This is a family home, not a purpose built rental property. It has many windows on every side so the famous hot Greek summer is not a problem for us.
It features 4 bedrooms :
* One master bedroom with en suite bathroom. It has a window and a French door with access to the back veranda (garden view, moonrise). This bedrooom can be provided with a baby crib.
* A second bedroom with double bed and big window (moonrise).
* A third bedroom with a single bed, a semi-double bed and a sofa single bed. This room has also a window and French door with access to the back veranda (garden view, moonrise).
* A fourth bedroom with a single bed and a sofa. This room is served as play room with toys, sketchbooks and couloured pencils. It has a window and a French door with access to the front veranda (garden view, sunset).
All with lots of built in storage. Bedding and extra linen and towels are provided.
* A spacious living room with fully equipped kitchen.
The kitchen is new and spacious and everything you'll need is provided.
Lounge has two large sofas, coffee table, LCD TV with satellite access, DVD player and Wi-Fi. A good ion of DVDs and books is available.
There are three dining tables, one in the kitchen, one in the front veranda and one in the back veranda.

The highlight
Sitting in the evening at the front veranda, drinking cool white wine, admiring the moon and the sky full of stars, with a fresh wind descenting from mountains.
The beach
The beach is about a 15 min walk by a shortcut, a 2 min drive or a 5 min bicycle ride. It's a marvelous, endless, blue flag beach with fine gold sand. Ideal for windsurfers and kitesurfers too. Swim and sunbath at many different crystal water points of the beach, completely alone in full privacy or with families and visitors. When driving with a car along the Ionian coast there are many beaches to discover with or without swimmers!
